How can we take care of our student’s emotional needs during this never before experienced event? Our teachers, parents, administrators, and caregivers are working overtime to meet all the needs of children around the world academically and emotionally.
There are children suffering from depression, anxiety, unchecked bullying, and overall uncertainty everywhere. Psychological distress and suicidal ideation are potential real outcomes of everything that children are going through right now and in the foreseeable future.
BUT we CAN do something about this! Academic Window, a web-based student-centered program, provides school counselors and teachers a way to address child psychological needs by focusing on student strengths using preventative counseling. The platform is already designed to be completed on-line, and all counselor and teacher lessons can be done independently or with in a virtual classroom. Staff can work with students over the phone, virtually, or in person. Paraprofessionals can be taught how to implement the program with school counselor supervision. We can address our student’s emotional needs right here and right now.
There is support for our middle and high school students that school counselors and teachers can access! Our research-based, school tested program is a real solution to the issues that our students are having today. Contact us and let us assist you!
